Blue LED is an LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamp that emits blue light. Its invention is hailed as "the second lighting revolution after Edison." The invention of the blue LED enabled humans to gather together LEDs that can emit three primary colors, and use LEDs to generate sufficiently bright white light, and its efficiency is much higher than that of incandescent lamps. White LED has contributed to the invention of various LED display screens and also promoted the improvement of lighting efficiency. In particular, the latter makes it possible for mankind to reduce carbon emissions and fight climate change. However, there are also concerns that the blue light emitted by blue LEDs may be harmful to human eyes, because blue light may cause macular degeneration.
