Recently,Panasonic lighting Americas,Inc.,PLTA sell two of their subsidiary(UL and Douglas Lighting Controls) to Atar Capital(also from America).
After that,the two subsidiary have a new name Universal Douglas Lighting Americas, Inc.
In fact,over the past years,the competition in global lighting industry has become more and more fierce,the product profit keep shrinking,so many companies are already on the way to optimize the product structure,especially internation brands.
But for domestic lighting manufacturers, although the contract orders are expected to increase, the path of globalizing its own brands still has a long way to go.
