Linear drive refers to a type of drive in which the difference between the actual operating voltage of the LED and the power supply voltage is borne by the linear element. The working voltage range is relatively narrow, which is suitable for environments where the difference between the actual LED working voltage and the power supply voltage is relatively small, and it is usually non-isolated.
Linear drive application is the simplest and most direct drive application method. In the application of lighting-level white light LED, although there are problems such as low efficiency and poor adjustability, because of its simple circuit and small size, it can meet more specific applications.
